Sandra Totten at Dolphin Yachts tells me that she and her colleague Andre Barbier represented both buyer and seller in the in-house sale of the 25.3m expedition yacht Amarella.

She was built by Inace to a design by Michael Kirschstein and launched in 2002. Amarella has several large yacht features including a private deck aft of the owner's stateroom. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five staterooms. The master suite is located behind the wheelhouse and has large windows on three sides and a king sized be while below there are two doubles with queen beds and two twins. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities.

A large flybridge has a helm position, sunbathing area, Jacuzzi, bar, barbecue and a dining table, while twin 440hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 12.5 knots.

Amarella was asking €1.6 million, VAT paid.
