Alex Clarke at Denison Yacht Sales sends in news of a €3 million price drop on his new build project at Mondo Marine, the M54 motor yacht.

Clarke promises delivery in under 16 months and she will offer 820-plus gross tons with a five or six stateroom layout and elevator serving all decks. The steel hull, aluminium superstructure, interior decks, engine room, machine spaces and hull fairing are already completed and the project is currently on hold. Being built to Lloyd’s class with full MCA compliancy, her twin 2,682hp Caterpillar engines promise a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The price is now down from €24.9 million to €21.9 million, and Clarke advises offers of around €20 million as the shipyard wants the project sold before the start of the Mediterranean summer season. Inspections can easily be arranged at short notice as the M54 is located in a builder's shed at the Mondo Marine yard in Savona, Italy – a two hour drive from the Nice or Milan airport.
