Tomaso Polli at Edmiston sends news of a €3 million price cut on his listing for sale, the 122m motor yacht Alexander.

Alexander was built in 1965 as a passenger vessel by Lubecker Flender Werke in Lubeck, Germany. After several changes of ownership she was converted into a superyacht by the late John Latsis, a Greek shipping tycoon in 1985. She was one of the earliest private yachts to breach the 100m barrier and achieve superyacht status. Fully refitted in 1998, she offers well-appointed accommodation for up to 80 guests in 40 staterooms. She was previously used only privately but in recent years has earned a terrific reputation for corporate yacht charter

Her facilities include a swimming pool, hospital, gymnasium, a 27-seat cinema and a beauty salon plus a permanent helicopter landing pad.

Lying in Athens and available for inspection asking €32 million, Alexander is a unique opportunity to become an exciting refit project.
