Hearing that Nick Dean and Tom Walden in the UK office of Ocean Independence have signed Cantieri di Pisa's 42.7m Element for sale, I call Nick for more information. He tells me that: "She's a lovely boat in very, very good order. Over the past few years, since we took over her management, she's had a great deal of money spent on her and changed dramatically."

He adds that the current owner is an audio/visual fanatic and that the state-of-the-art systems installed aboard "would blow your socks off." Built in 2002 and accommodating 12 guests in six cabins, Element has a good charter record and is offered at €13.95 million.
