A call to Tony Ross at Ensign Ship Brokers in Australia brings news that he’s sold a 31.6m variation of the 31m motor yacht Electra, launched by China’s IAG Yachts in December 2011.

With construction already underway, this version comes equipped with everything for luxury cruising. Fully fitted with Seakeeper gyro stabilisers, two jet skis and tender, four staterooms and three crew cabins, she's destined to generate waves of pride for IAG and, of course, its new owner.

Tony Ross comments, ‘This is a very exciting time for Ensign – the business is going from strength to strength even with the market the way it is and we know, undoubtedly, it can only get better.’

The asking price was $6.5 million.
