Further price cut on Benetti motor yacht Tommy
by Malcolm Maclean
The 52 metre motor yacht Tommy, jointly listed for sale by Edmiston & Company and Moncada Yachts, has received a further price reduction of €550,000.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Benetti to ABS class, Tommy was delivered in 1995 and completely rebuilt in 2002, with just one owner since her launch. A sophisticated interior by Terence Disdale can host up to 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a main deck master suite, VIP suite, double and twin plus two Pullman berths. All cabins on this yacht for sale have entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities in creamy travertine marble.
Her large main saloon has a lounge area with comfortable sofas and a formal dining space further forward. There is also a club-style skylounge with sofas and further seating, plus a games table and an entertainment centre including a large flatscreen television set and a Sonos sound system. Outdoor spaces are plentiful and include an aft deck with seating and tables for al fresco entertaining, while the sundeck has a central spa tub, sunbeds, and a bar area forward. Special features are her helipad and the ability to host cocktail parties for up to 100 guests aboard.
She has an excellent turn of speed, with twin 3,000hp Deutz diesel engines powering her up to 21 knots and is fitted with SeaRocq stabilisers.
Lying in Spain, Tommy is now asking €6,950,000.
