Kudos for the first sale in May go to Kevin Merrigan at Northrop & Johnson who closed on the sale of the 46.9m motor yacht Ohana with the buyer represented by Frank Grzeszczak and Barbara Stork at International Yacht Collection.

Built by US superyacht yard Admiral Marine in composite to ABS class and delivered in 1998, Ohana has a classic, contemporary interior designed by Donald Starkey with relaxing fabrics and decor. All was updated in 2007 by Gerard’s in Fort Lauderdale. Each part of the interior is finished in the finest woods, marble and fabric available, creating an interior that is inviting, comfortable and elegant.

Exterior spaces are striking with several spots for alfresco dining including a large aft deck with bar and an expansive sun deck with a Jacuzzi and built in sun pads.

Accommodation is for 10 guests in five staterooms. The master suite has a king sized bed while two double staterooms have queen sized beds, and there are two twins. All staterooms have en suite facilities.

Twin 1,650hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,600 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Ohana was asking $10.9 million.
