The 28.5 metre sailing yacht St Jean II, listed for sale by Jochen Brill at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Willem De Vries Lentsch, St Jean II was delivered in 1984 with several refits since, most recently in 2015. Her Peter Sijm interior offers accommodation for up to eight guests in a master suite and two twins plus two Pullman berths, all with en suite facilities. In addition, the crew quarters can accommodate four members of staff.
The saloon is a cosy area for relaxation, offering a U-shaped settee and dining area to starboard with seating space for six guests, while to port is a sophisticated entertainment centre including a large flatscreen television set and a Bose stereo surround sound system. The aft cockpit is the heart of social and sailing activity on deck, offering comfortable seating and all the amenities needed for al fresco dining.
On the technical side, she comes with two aluminium masts measuring 27.5 metres from the waterline, Lewmar rigging and a full sail wardrobe, new in 2015. Under power, a 420hp Mercedes engine allows a maximum speed of 11 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of nine knots.
St Jean II was asking €790,000.
