Major €1.5 million price drop on sailing yacht Merlin at Ocean Independence

Edmund Peel at Ocean Independence tells me that, having signed the 30.45m motorsailor Merlin for sale in August 2011, she's now had a hefty €1.5 million price cut by owners who want to move on.

She was built by Turkey’s Mengi-Yay yard in 2010 to RINA class and accommodation is for up to nine guests in a master suite, two double staterooms and a twin cabin with Pullman berth.

Twin Caterpillar C12 engines give Merlin a cruising speed of 10 knots and she’s fitted with high quality hardware throughout.

Lying in Gocek, Turkey, Merlin is now down from €6.95 million to €5.45 million.
