News in overnight from Peter Croke at Merle Wood & Associates that Merle’s now signed the 85.6m motor yacht Cakewalk for sale in a joint listing with Burgess.

This Cakewalk surpasses her four predecessors in size and is the largest yacht built in the USA since the 1930s, and the biggest ever built in the United States when measured by volume. Built by Derecktor in 2010 to a Tim Heywood design, her seamless interior is by Elizabeth Dalton.

All guest accommodation is situated on the main deck, including four staterooms with king size beds, two staterooms with double beds and one staff cabin with twin bunk beds.

With four external decks to choose from there are numerous options for guests. The sun deck is furnished with a range of observation chairs, sun loungers and card tables, along with a bar and large whirlpool spa.  The additional three external decks afford a blend of open or shaded seating and are ideal for relaxing, dining or entertaining on a grand scale.
