Merritt Sportfish Yacht Speculator for Sale

The 24.38 metre sportfish yacht Speculator has been listed for sale by Dave Berard at HMY Yacht Sales.

Built in GRP by US yard Merritt Boat Works to a design by Roy Merritt, she was delivered in 2005. Accommodation is for six guests in three cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and a twin, and all cabins on this yacht for sale have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.

The main saloon offers a large U-shaped settee to port, a long sofa to starboard, teak coffee table and an entertainment centre including a 55-inch Sony flatscreen television set and a stereo surround sound system. Forward is the galley with all new appliances and a dinette seating six guests for relaxed casual meals. The interior layout is totally functional and blends large spaces with impeccable woodwork joinery.

Her flybridge is open and incredibly spacious, with excellent visibility from the helm of the bow and aft corners. She has a Stidd helm chair and two companion helm seats on either side. Forward of the console, she has an L-shaped bench seat with rod storage underneath and a drink box to port at the forward end of the bench.

Speculator is a true fishing machine, sporting a Jack Hopewell tuna tower and a wide range of fishing gear.

In the cockpit is a Merritt fighting chair, a bait freezer, live bait wells, insulated drinks freezer box, rod storage and Rupp hydraulic outriggers. Twin MTU M91 2,000hp diesel engines power her to a maximum speed of 35 knots.

Lying in Palm Beach, Florida, Speculator is asking $3,800,000.
