by Malcolm Maclean
The 24.9 metre motor yacht Andiamo, listed for sale by Kevin Frawley at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Jeff Stanley at Gilman Yachts.
Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Kha-Shing, Andiamo was delivered in 2001 as a Monte Fino Widebody model. Her interior, by Pokela Design utilising teak panelling throughout, accommodates eight guests in four cabins comprising a full beam master suite, VIP suite, double and twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon has a leather sectional settee to port, burl-wood counter tops, an entertainment centre including a 40-inch Samsung television screen and a Dolby stereo surround sound system, and a dining table that accommodates six guests just forward. There are also built-in cabinets to starboard as well as a wet bar with glass and bottle storage. Further forward still is the galley with a cosy breakfast bar for casual meals.
The aft deck, sheltered by the upper deck, has built in upholstered seating and a table for al fresco dining, while her large flybridge has seating, tables and a wet bar, making it ideal for entertaining. For those wishing to sunbathe in total privacy, walk around side decks lead to a foredeck area with large sun pads.
Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar diesel engines deliver a cruising speed of 12 knots topping out at 26 knots and she is fitted with ABT zero speed stabilisers.
Andiamo was asking $1,299,000.
