A call from Moran Yacht & Ship brings news that they've closed on the sale of the 68m Lürssen superyacht Kismet (now renamed Global) with Tim Morley at Morley Yachts acting for the buyer.
Delivered by Lurssen in 2007, Kismet was designed by Espen Oeino and is Lloyd's classed and MCA compliant. A winner at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards, her Reymond Langton Art Deco interior features a saloon with a cinema lounge and grand piano along with a formal dining room seating up to 18 guests.
Kismet sleeps 12 guests in a master, VIP and four double cabins convertible to twins while the upper deck has a gym, steam room and beach-style lounge. Twin 1,957hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles, and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers.
Kismet was asking €79 million.
