Name change and price reduction on motor yacht Katia at A1

7 March 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The owner of the 32.5m motor yacht Katia must be a fan of anagrams as Michalis Papatheodoulou at A1 Yacht Trade Consortium says her name has been changed to Aktia to coincide with a price reduction.

Aktia was built by New Versilcraft in 2001, with naval architecture and interior design by the yard’s in-house team. She sleeps eight guests in a master, double and two twin cabins.

She has had just one owner and one captain and a full-time crew of five keep her in good condition.

Aktia is now down from €2.2 million to €1.95 million.
