Lord Sugar's motor yacht Lady A for sale
The 55.17 metre Nishii Zosen motor yacht Lady A has been listed for sale by Simon Goldsworthy at Edmiston & Company.
Lady A was built with a GRP hull and aluminium superstructure by Japan’s Nishii Zosen yard in 1986 to a design by Sterling Yachts and Jon Bannenberg. Formerly known as Southern Cross III, she was owned by Australian billionaire Alan Bond before being purchased by British business magnate and TV personality Sir Alan Sugar.
The stunning aft deck lounge area, which is accessed via a grand central staircase from the main deck level, has circular seating with tables to port and starboard, a large al fresco circular dining table with seating for up to 12 and a full wet bar. Entering the saloon from the aft deck, there is seating to starboard with a faux bookcase to port. The focal point of this saloon is the formal wet bar to port, with bar stools. Forward is a split-level observation saloon with three distinct seating areas and 180-degree panoramic views.
She was almost entirely rebuilt in 2017 by the current owner at a cost of more than €12 million. The full year spent in the shipyard gave the yacht a newly designed and fitted interior with walnut cabinetry and solid timber floors.
She is ABS classed and has a grand interior that was designed to impress, accommodating up to 15 guests in a master suite, four spacious double suites and two additional guest cabins.
Her two 3516B Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
Lady A is asking €11,500,000 with VAT paid.
