The 25.6 metre motor yacht Islander, listed for sale by Whit Kirtland at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Hampton Yacht Group.

Built in GRP by US yard Northern Marine to a design by Stuart Archer, Islander was delivered in 2006 as a trawler-style yacht. Her interior in hand-selected African cherry wood can accommodate up to six guests in three cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Samsung television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. A further two cabins can sleep up to three crewmembers.

Her large open plan saloon has a settee and two upholstered armchairs to starboard facing an entertainment centre to port including a 60-inch television screen mounted on a rise and fall mechanism plus a Bose Lifestyle stereo surround sound system. Forward is a dining area with a custom wood table and seating for six guests.

Up in the flybridge are three Stidd helm seats, built-in seating, two tables offering al fresco dining amenities and a hard top with two opening hatches for maximum sunlight.

A single Cummins KTA 19M diesel engine powers her to a maximum speed of 11 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at nine knots.

Islander was asking $2,295,000.
