A call to Northrop & Johnson confirms that Kevin Merrigan has found a buyer for the 39.6m motor yacht Mary Alice II, listed by Moran Yacht & Ship.

A Westport 130 launched in 2002, Mary Alice II features generous accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins including a full-beam master suite on the main deck. In the past 12 months, more than $1 million has been spent on upgrading her systems, including the installation of zero-speed stabilisers.

The large aft deck area is accessed from the forward walkaround decks, two staircases aft from the swim platform, or directly through the saloon. There is a bar to port with an icemaker and refrigerator, sink, granite bar top, stools and concealed flat screen TV. A large teak circular dining table at center seats up to 10 guests. There are occasional chairs to port and starboard, as well as aft seating across the transom with two ottomans.

Mary Alice II was asking $8.95 million.
