Toby Maclaurin at Ocean Independence tells me that Eric Trupheme has sold a new build 50 metre Codecasa motor yacht called Project Falcon.

Currently under construction to Lloyds class in steel and aluminium at the Italian builder's Viareggio yard as Hull C.121, the build is well advanced and delivery is due in July 2015. This new build is a development of the previous 35, 41 and 45 metre Vintage series from the yard and was developed by the Codecasa technical team with an interior by Anna Maria and Franco Della Role.

The traditional exterior lines and the classic interior are being built using the latest generation technology and cutting edge equipment. Accommodation is for 12 guests in six staterooms consisting of an owner's suite, VIP stateroom, two doubles and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities. 10 crew are accommodated in two single and four twin cabins.

Fitted with twin 2,365hp Caterpillar engines, Project Falcon will have a maximum speed of 17.5 knots, a range of 5,000 nautical miles and will be fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
