Oceanfast Motor Yacht Thunder For Sale

The impressive 50 metre motor yacht Thunder has been listed for sale by Ken and Kit Denison at Denison Yachting.

Custom built in GRP by Australian yard Oceanfast and delivered in 1998 with a full refit in 2016, her sleek exterior and understated, yet sumptuous interior was completed to designs by the late Jon Bannenberg, with naval architecture by Phil Curran.

She can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam master suite, four doubles and an additional salon/study cabin, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. A further three twin cabins can sleep up to six crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.

The skylounge has full height windows, entertainment and seating areas and opens out to an enormous aft deck with a wet bar, fridge, ice maker and an al fresco dining area with seating for up to 12 guests. There is a full private bathroom off the skylounge, meaning it can be used to accommodate extra guests if necessary.

A spectacular foredeck has sun loungers, seating and a barbecue area along with shade provided by her distinctive parasol tents.

Twin 2,950hp MTU diesel engines coupled with a 4,600hp gas turbine allow a cruising speed of 19 knots, topping out at 30 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Thunder is asking $6,495,000.
