Julia Simpson of Ocean Independence tells me that the company’s brokers will be promoting the sale of four yachts at the forthcoming Antibes Yacht Show, First up, there’s IF, a 35m Benetti Classic launched in 2000 and refitted in 2007/2008. Sleeping eight guests in four cabins, she’s offered at €7 million. Then there’s Paolyre, a 32.7m commuter from France’s OCEA yard in 2008. She accommodates 10 guests in five cabins and is asking  €7.9 million. Gliss, a 32m high performance sailing yacht was designed by Philippe Briand and launched by Royal Huisman in 2006. With accommodation for seven guests in four cabins, she’s being marketed at 14.5 million.

Finally, there’s the FM75 Sossego, a series of fast – up to 43 knots – open sports yachts custom built to order by Frank Mulder Yacht Projects. The first two hulls have been sold and the build slot for No 3 is now available at €3.55 million.
