The 37.61 metre sailing yacht Axia has been listed for sale by Ann Avery at Northrop & Johnson.

Built in aluminium by US yard Palmer Johnson to a design by Sparkman & Stephens, she was delivered in 1991 with her most recent refit in 2019 including a full repaint to give her a new livery in Awlgrip blue.

An interior by John Munford in rich honey-coloured teak with raised panelling accommodates up to eight guests in three cabins comprising a master suite and two twins, all with en suite facilities. In addition, a settee in the master suite can convert into two bunks aboard thisyacht for sale.

The raised saloon provides impressive views from the large windows. This space has formal dining with a teak table including an inlaid compass rose, a full bar and a fireplace with a granite hearth. Down in the lower saloon is ample seating, an entertainment centre, a games table and a library.

Her exterior living spaces are a natural extension of her interior. The hard-covered cockpit offers the ideal spot for al fresco dining and relaxing with ample seating at an L-shaped settee and Italian director chairs.

Under power, her top speed is 14 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from a 530hp MTU 12V183TE91 diesel engine.
