News from Frank Grzeszczak at International Yacht Collection of a $400,000 price drop on the 44.8m motor yacht Surina, his joint listing for sale with Whit Kirtland at Bradford Marine.

Formerly named Taijin, she was built by Trident Marine to a design by Sergio Cutolo, and she was launched in 2000. Superyacht Surina had a major interior refit in 2012 under the direction of designer Claudette Bonville. All built-in seating areas were re-upholstered and the loose furniture was replaced while outside a hot tub was installed at the base of the mast. Nearly all materials were changed or replaced and the wall panels are now in contemporary linen or marine friendly leather. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five staterooms – a master suite, two double staterooms and two twin cabins and all have en suite bathroom facilities.

Twin 3,000hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots and a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 18 knots.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Surina is down from $6.3 million to $5.9 million.
