Toby Maclaurin at Ocean Independence gives me the go-ahead to broadcast news of price reductions on the sailing yachts Astro de l’Est and Hide N Sea.

Firstly, Astro de l'Est is a 24.89m cruiser/racer built by Nautor's Swan in 2000 and refitted in 2008. This superyacht cruises at 8.5 knots and has a range of 1,400 nautical miles at 9 knots. She sleeps up to eight guests in a master, double and a twin cabin plus two Pullman berths. Astro de l'Est is now down from €2.6 million to €2.2 million.

Hide N Sea is a 28.8m Jongert delivered in 1992 and offers accommodation for seven guests in a master and two staterooms plus a Pullman berth. In 2008 she had an extensive refit and, as well as the normal maintenance work, the electronics were updated and safety equipment improved. She also now has a brand new set of sails and the sail area was extended to speed up this superyacht. Hide N Sea was listed for sale at €3.45 million and is now asking €3.2 million.
