A call to Marc Haendle at Ocean Independence brings news of a €900,000 price cut on the new-build 46m motor yacht project, Nedship D-1000.

Developed by Turkey’s Nedship yard, she's to be built in advanced composites to RINA class and MCA compliant and it's planned that all five large staterooms would be on the main deck with working areas for the crew relegated below decks.

Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT 970Kw engines will give the Nedship D1000 a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.

Building time would be 20 to 22 months from signature of contract.

Nedship D-1000 is now down from €17.8 million to €16.9 million.
