Sean Doyle at Northrop & Johnson sends word of a $200,000 price cut on his listing for sale, the 38.4m motor yacht Impulsive.

Impulsive was built by Norship to a design by Frank Mulder and launched in 1993. She had a major 2010 refit, which included new paint, rebuilt main engines, new generators and a new custom transom. Her Paola D Smith interior features a full beam master suite below decks and a VIP stateroom forward on the main deck, plus a further two double cabins. The master suite has a king size bed while the VIP and two doubles come with queen size beds. All staterooms have flat screen plasma television screens and full en suite bathroom facilities.

Impulsive has an open, spacious sun deck with an outdoor plasma television, sunpads, wet bar and al fresco dining for eight guests. Twin 2,200hp MTU engines give her a range of 2,800 nautical miles at 12 knots.

On display at the upcoming Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, Impulsive is down from $3,988,000 to $3,788,000.
