Price reduction for Supercraft motor yacht Van Triumph
by Laura Nineham
The 64.6 metre Supercraft motor yacht Van Triumph, listed for sale by Executive Marine, has had a price update and is now asking $5,900,000.
Built to last in R41 steel by Hong Kong’s Supercraft in 1983, she exceeds Lloyd's 100+A1 class in most areas and passed a Lloyd's survey in June 2009.
Her original and only owner conceptualised her as a vessel to escape, survive and be self contained for ultra long distance in ultimate safety.
Van Triumph is built to a three compartment standard and also has a double hull with 1m separation in the area of the engine and control rooms. Each side of the double hull is further sub-divided into four compartments.
The wheelhouse and accommodation areas — sleeping 16 guests in eight staterooms — are bulletproof, having been built for areas where piracy remains a threat.
The ultimate long-distance traveller, Van Triumph has an estimated range of 15,000 miles at 11 knots and her very large refrigeration areas allow for long voyages without the need for re-provisioning.
Lying in Hong Kong, Van Triumph is now asking $5,900,000.
