Ilona of Kylesku and Persistence see major price reductions through Edmiston

Speaking to William Christie in the London of Edmiston & Company, he tells me that the price of Ilona of Kylesku has been reduced again, this time to £1.75 million. Originally offered at €3.25 million and then dropped to £2 million earlier this year this is, as William says, a considerable cut. He goes on to say that, “Her recent refit cost well over twice the current asking price and she now has an immaculate and very tasteful interior. She’s ready for inspection now in Palma de Mallorca.” Ilona of Kylescu sleeps five guests in three cabins. Word also reaches me of another price reduction by Edmiston, this time by Cornelius Gerling in the Monaco office.  Persistence, built by CIM in 1993 and refitted in 2006, is a 29.7m sailing yacht accommodating eight guests that was originally priced at €2 million and is now asking €1.8 million by a “willing seller.” She’s currently in Martinique and will be back in Monaco by the end of May.
