7 June 2023

The 41.8-metre Feadship motor yacht Miss Iloilo has been sold by Miles Clark at Ocean Independence, who represented the seller and Alan Kelly of LIIR Yachts International.

Miss Iloilo first hit the water at the Feadship shipyard as Excellence in 1986 with an exterior profile by De Voogt Naval Architects. In 2013, she began an extensive rebuild from the hull up which was completed in 2020 and cost in excess of $13,000,000.

Work included an extension to the hull and the addition of a lazarette, the replacement of pipework, wiring and steel plates, the installation of two new main engines and zero-speed stabilisers, and new navigational equipment.

Miss Iloilo was asking $7,800,000

Accommodation on board this classic yacht for sale is for a total of 13 guests in five cabins with quarters for a crew of 11. The largest cabin is a full-beam master suite on the main deck featuring a centreline king-size bed with built-in nightstands on either side facing a 60-inch flatscreen television. The suite is complete with a full-width en suite bathroom, wardrobe and built-in vanity.

An additional four guest cabins can be accessed via a stairway on the starboard side of the main saloon that leads to a guest foyer with a bar and refrigerator. A VIP stateroom to port contains a queen-size berth and the remaining three cabins are configured as twins with an additional Pullman berth in each.

The main saloon has a sofa and custom mahogany coffee table with full surround sound and a Sonos system. Natural light filters through large windows with automatic electric sliding doors and motorised Hunter Douglas blinds. Forward is a formal dining table for ten with the galley and pantry positioned behind the bulkhead.

Al fresco dining is offered on the main deck aft and seats 12 with a bar and sofa for pre-dinner aperitifs. Other highlights include a four-person Jacuzzi on the sundeck forward of the mast flanked by two large sunbeds, serviced by a full bar and barbecue area.

Miss Iloilo carries two tenders – one 6.5-metre tender and one five-metre tender – which were purchased in 2013 and stored until she neared completion in 2019.

Power comes from a pair of C32 Caterpillar 660hp engines, which give her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 13.7 knots.

Lying in the Philippines, Miss Iloilo was asking $7,800,000.
