The 53.2 metre Rossinavi motor yacht Rarity, listed for sale by MMYB, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Pierre Vezilier of IYC.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Rossinavi to a design by Alessandro Cusumano, she was delivered in 2008 with an extensive refit in 2017 including a full repaint. An interior by Officina Italiana Design can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins, including a master suite with office, walk-in wardrobe and a main deck VIP suite with queen-size bed. There are also two further double cabins, a twin and a sixth convertible cabin that can be set up as a double or a twin, and all cabins have television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
Cristiano Gatto Design have done an excellent job of injecting some decadent modernity to the interiors while keeping them highly sophisticated. Huge works of modern art decorate the walls in the main saloon, where guests can sip on a pre-dinner cocktail in a plush velvet armchair before crossing the open-plan room to the dining table.
Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots and has a range of up to 5,400 nautical miles from her 130,000 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. For added comfort and safety she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
Rarity was asking €19,900,000.
