The 29-metre Sanlorenzo motor yacht Orient Star has been sold only one month after joining the brokerage market. Anton Farber of Fraser and Candas Balci from BLC Yachts represented both the seller and the buyer.
Orient Star was delivered in 2006, constructed in GRP from the Italian shipyard's SL100 model, designed in entirety by Sanlorenzo. According to her broker, she has only been used privately since her launch, meticulously maintained and presented to the market in "excellent" condition following recent works in 2024.
Despite her more compact size, Orient Star offers a spacious interior volume of 152GT, accommodating up to eight guests in a four-cabin layout. A full-beam master suite is located on the main deck – something "rare and highly desirable" for her size – while a generous VIP cabin and two twins can be found on the lower deck below. There are further quarters for a crew of five.
Golden wood and a predominantly neutral colour scheme characterise the interior aboard Orient Star, with splashes of colour seen mainly within her suites. The main saloon is bright and welcoming, thanks to elongated windows which sweep across both sides, fitted with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and dining table seating eight. Additionally, sliding glass doors open to the aft deck al fresco dining space.
The deck above is designed for open-air living: featuring another dining area and a dedicated sunbathing space with large sunpads.
Powered by twin 2190 hp MTU engines, Orient Star cruises comfortably at 23 knots and can reach a top speed of 27 knots. Key specs include a beam of 6.7-metre beam and a 2.4-metre draft.
Orient Star was last asking €2,350,000.
