The 31 metre Sanlorenzo Asymmetric motor yacht Echelon, listed for sale by Lengers Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by IYC.
Delivered in 2019, the boat’s asymmetric design had its genesis in the partnership Sanlorenzo announced in 2015 with American car designer and BMW guru of many years Chris Bangle. However its development was entrusted to Zuccon International Studiowhile the interiors are by H2 Yacht Design.
The layout positions the master cabin forward, with a starboard side door accessing the single side deck. The builder offers the option of a gate that deploys at the touch of a button to prevent passage at certain times, in order for the owners to enjoy the entire forward area of the yacht, which includes an outdoor lounge, in complete privacy.
Key features of the design include a single side deck matched on the opposite side with a widebody design. This results in a protected passage for the crew to handle mooring operations, protected from the elements. On the opposite side, the boat’s guest accommodation line up with the bulkhead as in any widebody design. This has the benefit to expand the square footage of the living area by around 25 square metres, and with large windows, to allow guests to feel more connected with the outside environment.
Cruising speed is around 25-26 knots courtesy of twin 2,434hp MTU diesel engines, and the yacht is able to carry 12,000 litres of fuel and 2,000 litres of water.
Echelon was asking €8,450,000.
