The 24 metre Sunseeker motor yacht Maoro has been sold by James Lumley at Sunseeker Southampton.

Built in GRP by UK yard Sunseeker International, Maoro  was delivered in 2007 as a Sunseeker Predator 82 model. In addition to a custom layout finished in satin walnut, she is equipped with all the Mediterranean additional extras, including a hydraulic bathing platform, satellite TV, Bose surround sound upgrades, a watermaker and tropical air conditioning.

Accommodation is for eight guests in four spacious cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities. Fitted with high performance twin MTU 1800hp engines, this Predator 82 is capable of 32 knots.

The new British owner will keep Maoro on the Cote d’Azur_,_ where the family will enjoy the stunning coastline for their Summer Med cruising. As experienced owners they plan to run the boat without crew – proving that even a vessel of this size can be successfully run without employing a full-time crew.

Since handover, the owner has appointed the Sunseeker France Technical Support team to carry out a number of refit works to suit their specific tastes, including returning the saloon floors to a natural wood finish and a new leather interior.
