The 28 metre motor yacht aptly named Twenty Eight has been sold with Jon Ford at Dbeere Yachts acting for the buyer and seller.
Built in GRP by UK yard Sunseeker International to RINA class, she was delivered in 2012 and is also MCA compliant. She has an interior with satin finished black American walnut panelling accommodating eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, double and a twin, all with Harmon Kardon cinema sound systems and en suite bathroom facilities.
The main saloon has full height ceilings, wraparound glazing and a hydraulic sea balcony while up on the flybridge is a wet bar, ceramic grill and a carbon fibre hard top with an electric retractable sunroof. Power comes from twin 1,950hp MTU diesel engines and she is fitted with Trac digital fin stabilisers.
Her broker, Jon Ford, comments, “The yacht performed effortlessly during the sea trial in high winds and challenging winter seas off the coast of Dorset. Reaching speeds of 29 knots and cutting through the waves it was exhilarating to experience such conditions within the safe and quite surroundings of the vast saloon of the Sunseeker 28m. As the first Sunseeker to offer the new generation of wraparound glazing to the main deck accommodation, the Sunseeker 28m looks as young and fresh as any of the new Sunseeker yachts available today.
“Twenty Eight is currently enjoying a comprehensive refit at Sunseeker International using all the latest materials and finishes. Destined for the South of France, Twenty Eight will be available for charter via Sunseeker Charters and the yacht will be professionally managed by the team at Sunseeker Superyacht Management.”
Twenty Eight was asking £3,495,000.
