Some Christmas cheer arrives from John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates who has sold the 45.72m motor yacht Cariad. It's the second time she's been sold this year; the previous time was in May when she was called My Iris.

Cariad was built by Trinity Yachts in 2003 to ABS class and has a warm, rich ‘country house’ interior by celebrated designer Claudette Bonville. MCA compliant, this superyacht accommodates 10 guests in a master, three doubles and one twin cabin.

Twin 2250hp Caterpillar engines power her to a cruising speed of 18 knots and a range of 2,925 nautical miles at 15 knots. Her asking price was $19,950,000.
