A call to Eric Trupheme at Ocean Independence brings news that he's closed on the sale of the 42m motor yacht Imbros with Ben Snead at Expedition Yachts acting for the buyer.

An innovative explorer yacht launched by Turkey’s Troy Marine yard in January 2010, this superyacht was built to Bureau Veritas class and is MCA compliant. Imbros sleeps 10 guests in a main deck master, VIP, double and two twin cabins. Powered by two Volvo 750hp engines, she offers economical cruising at 12 knots and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Imbros was asking €10.5 million.
