Superyacht Julianne sold by All Ocean Yachts and Northrop and Johnson

A flurry of emails arrived last night informing me of the sale of the 24.7m motor yacht Julianne, with Chuck McMahon of Northrop and Johnson representing the seller and John DeCaro of All Ocean Yachts representing the buyer.

Delivered by Northern Marine in 2006, Julianne is one of the finest in their 80 series of full displacement long range expedition yachts. She is the epitome of quality, with an interior by Ardeo Design and Scott Cole sleeping up to seven guests, and offered a very substantial equipment inventory.

Daniel Ziriakus at Northrop and Johnson tells me they received a number of offers for her in recent weeks and she sold very close to her reduced asking price of $3,685,000. He goes on to say that they are seeing an increasing number of enquiries for displacement yachts, a positive sign for that particular sector of the market.

One final note - Julianne's new owner has renamed her African Queen.
