The 24.68 metre sailing yacht Capercaillie, listed for sale by Tim Quinlan at Ocean Independence, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP by Finnish yard Nautor's Swan to a design by German Frers, she was launched in 1993 and has been upgraded several times since. Below deck, Capercaillie features three air conditioned cabins including a spacious master suite with a double bed and two guest cabins with twin singles. Each cabin has an en suite bathroom, television and DVD system. An additional, smaller cabin with twin singles for children is also available.
The spacious teak-panelled main saloon is tastefully furnished and decorated and is equipped with a comprehensive entertainment system. The navigation and communications station comes complete with worldwide transmission facilities and state-of-the-art navigation systems.
Capercaillie is a wide boat and therefore the saloon affords generous space in which to dine, relax or watch a DVD. Alternatively, guests might just want to sip a glass of champagne from the well-equipped bar while listening to their favourite music through the excellent sound system.
On deck, the twin cockpit layout allows for undisturbed sunbathing and relaxation amidships while the task of sailing is handled aft. An awning provides shade and a broad automated swim platform makes for easy access to the water.
Capercaillie was asking €960,000.
