The 36 metre motor yacht Blue Jay has been listed for sale by Joan Plana at World Yacht Group.
Designed by Luca Dini, Blue Jay was built in GRP by Italian yard Tecnomar to RINA class and delivered in 2009 as one of the yard’s Velvet 36 series and extensively refitted in 2018. She has an informal, family-friendly interior accommodating up to ten guests in five cabins comprising a master suite plus two double and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities.
The saloon of this yacht for sale has large windows on both sides and glazing in the ceiling allowing light to flood in. Blue Jay comes with an L-shaped leather settee to port facing an entertainment centre including a 50-inch flatscreen television mounted on a rise and fall mechanism and a Bose stereo surround sound system. Forward is a dining area for 10 guests and a twin helm station.
The sheltered aft deck has al fresco entertaining and dining on built-in seating and a table, while her large sundeck has more outdoor seating, a fridge, hot plate and a grill.
Twin 2,920hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 24 knots, topping out at 31 knots.
