The 50-metre Trinity motor yacht Impromptu, listed for sale with Kristen Klein and Kevin Merrigan of Northrop & Johnson, has received a $550,000 price drop. This announcement comes ahead of her attendance at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show next week.

Delivered by US-based Trinity Yachts in 2011, this custom yacht for sale underwent a 2022 refit that saw a full Awlgrip paint job, an extensive upgrade of the A/V and Wi-Fi systems and installation of a new ASEA shore power converter. She is in excellent condition, reaffirmed through the completion of her 15-year ABS survey earlier this year.

Impromptu is now asking $23,950,000

Accommodation is for 12 guests across six cabins, with further space for ten crew. Interiors are owed to Patrick Knowles, who has opted for a classic, glossy feel with lacquered wood panelling, warm lighting and furniture in neutral tones. According to the broker, her versatile layout contributes to her excellent charter history, featuring a split-level master cabin (with 180-degree views and private study), a bridge deck VIP cabin, three king cabins and a twin cabin with a Pullman on the lower deck.

The yacht’s main saloon is open-plan with dedicated seating and dining spaces for up to 12 guests, alongside a centrally-located spiral staircase, fitted with a wine cellar at the top.

Impromptu's sundeck is the main convivial area, arranged with a custom, raised waterfall Jacuzzi, outdoor bar, al fresco dining table and BBQ. There are also ample sunpads and loungers, complete with umbrellas.

Her skylounge is dedicated to guests with its L-shaped sofa, bar, 60-inch screen and games table. Aft of the skylounge is an al fresco dining set-up and additional seating.

The main deck aft features a raised conversation area and dual staircase that leads to Impromptu's spacious swim platform and tender garage. The garage has capacity for a variety of tenders and toys, including two Yamaha waverunners, two Seabobs, four e-bicycles and snorkel gear.

Powered by twin CAT engines, the American build can reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots.

Impromptu is now asking $23,950,000. She will be on display at FLIBS next week as one of the most expensive yachts for sale.
