45m Trinity motor yacht listed for sale following $4M refit

30 October 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

The 44.5-metre motor yacht Summerdance (ex Second Love) has joined the brokerage market with Kevin Merrigan and Kristen Klein of Northrop & Johnson. She is currently on display at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Delivered in 2004, Summerdance was constructed in aluminium by American shipyard Trinity Yachts to ABS class. Her exterior and naval architecture were penned in-house by the yard, while Ari Loar originally designed her interiors.

The semi-displacement yacht now joins the market following an extensive $4,000,000 refit completed this year, with works including a fresh repaint and a new, fully redesigned interior by Bonville & Associates

Summerdance is now asking $17,950,000

Previous works in 2017 saw Summerdance's length increase with the addition of a custom transom and swim platform. Her 20-year ABS survey was completed in 2024, in addition to the overhaul of her main engines.

According to BOATPro, Summerdance was previously sold in an off-market deal announced earlier this year, in January.

Her interior is now adorned in a "relaxed coastal aesthetic" with off-white tones, navy accents, and family-friendly finishes. Lounge areas are mirrored and accompanied by mahogany joinery in the main saloon, with its lounge and formal dining area for 10, and the skylounge, which is complete with a curved bar and panoramic views.

Accommodation is for 10 guests in five "well-appointed" cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck with an en suite and a skylit bath. The remaining four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, all with en-suite baths and newly updated furnishings. Further quarters accommodate a crew of nine.

On deck, living areas are plentiful too and include a Jacuzzi-clad sundeck, a walk-up bar and al fresco dining area on the main deck aft, and a Portuguese bridge foredeck space for quiet lounging. As of 2025, her toy box includes F95 Porsche SeaBobs, a flight board, and PWCs.

"Summerdance is an excellent opportunity in the sub-150’ (45.7 metre) category, combining classic American yacht pedigree, a contemporary refit, and true long-range capability," shared her brokers. "With her charter-friendly layout, fresh systems, and global cruising potential, she is positioned to meet the moment for discerning buyers."

Twin 2,250hp Caterpillar engines power the 432GT yacht for sale to a top speed of 19 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a transatlantic range of 2,400 nautical miles. Key specs include an 8.14-metre beam and a 2-metre draught.

Summerdance is asking $17,950,000. She is currently on display at FLIBS and available for viewings.
