Brokerage market round-up: February 12-16, 2018

SALES

Eight superyacht sales were announced in a particularly strong week for the US market — five of the yachts changing hands were priced in Dollars, including the 57.91 metre Trinity superyacht Skyfall. The total asking price was in excess of £47 million ($63 million) and the most active brokerage house was HMY Yacht Sales, which was involved in two completed deals.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Nine price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week, for a total reduction of £5.9million ($8.3 million). Four of these reductions were higher than £500,000 ($673,000).

NEW LISTINGS

Six new yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £16 million ($22 million). The largest new listing was the 43.63 metre ISA motor yacht Silver Wind, which is listed for sale with Thompson, Westwood & White Yachts.

Silver Wind was last sold in July 2017
