ANTARES III is a remarkable 30-metre sailing yacht built by Yachting Developments in New Zealand and delivered in May 2011.  

Designed by Dixon Yacht Design, she boasts refined naval architecture that balances solidity and performance, while Rhoades Young Design has crafted her open, airy interiors. Bright, spacious areas provide an ideal environment for comfortable world cruising, ensuring self-sufficiency during extended voyages.

Accommodation is designed for up to seven guests, with three cabins, each with an en-suite. The full-beam owner’s suite, located at the rear, offers exclusive access to the deck. Light carpeting and cream leather wall panels create a relaxing atmosphere, and a thoughtfully designed foyer enhances privacy by separating the owner's cabin from the guest accommodation. 

Additional space has been allocated for four crew members forward of the galley and crew mess area. 

ANTARES III is equipped with a towering 42.7-meter-high-modulus Southern Spar carbon mast and features a furling boom and EC6 continuous carbon rigging.  This state-of-the-art setup allows her to harness an impressive 4,876 square feet of sail area (approx 450 square meters ).

The elevated pilothouse of ANTARES III provides excellent all-around visibility, complemented by spacious opening windows that create an inviting connection with guests on deck. 
A specialised recess on the foredeck is designed to integrate sunbathing cushions, turning the tender storage area into a luxurious forward seating area.

The powerful Scania engine enables her to achieve top speeds of 12 knots with a maximum range of 3,600 nautical miles at cruising speed.
