Virtual Boat Show to Host Superyacht Brokerage Live Q&A

27 April 2020 • Written by Olivia Michel

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, which lead to the cancellation of numerous boat shows around the world, BOAT International has launched its very own Virtual Boat Show for the superyacht community to enjoy.

The show will be the world’s biggest ever digital boat show, held entirely online, and will offer everything from live walk-throughs of the hottest superyachts currently on the market, to behind-the-scenes videos from shipyards and industry knowledge from brokerage, charter and luxury sector experts.

Confirmed speakers at the Live Q&A are [left to right] Antoine Larricq, Alex Lees-Buckley and Will Bishop.

On day two of the virtual boat show, where the spotlight will be shining on featured brokers and the latest brokerage news, the highlight will undoubtedly be a superyacht brokerage live Q&A. BOAT International Editor Stewart Campbell will host the hour-long talk with leading figures from the luxury superyacht sales business.

Confirmed speakers for the live Q&A represent some of the industry’s top-tier brokerage firms – YPI, Fraser and Camper & Nicholsons.

From YPI, the talk will be joined by sales and new construction broker, Will Bishop, a former crew member based at the firm’s Monaco offices. Also taking part in the Q&A will be ex-captain Antoine Larricq, a Fraser sales broker with over 20 years of experience. Finally, the confirmed representative from Camper & Nicholsons will be senior sales broker Alex Lees-Buckley, who looks after superyachts such as the 91.5 metre_ Tranquility_.
