Amels has launched the hull of the 74 metre sixth Limited Editions 242 superyacht at the Damen hull building facility in Romania.
The Tim Heywood-designed superyacht is now ready for outfitting and is due for a 2021 delivery.
Accommodation inside the 1790GT interior is for a total of 12 guests in six guest cabins; two main deck VIP suites, three lower deck guest suites and a dedicated 240 square metre owner’s deck with a forward facing suite.
The lower deck guest cabins also have direct access to the full beam wellness centre and beach platform. The crew accommodation meanwhile allows for a staff of 19.
Elsewhere, the yacht is equipped with an elongated aft main deck of 180 square metres. This makes a perfect party area and even includes a bar, dance floor and 6.5 metre infinity pool.
With a top speed of 16.5 knots, the 242 superyacht will have a range of 5000 nautical miles.
