Bulgari luxury resort in Dubai to include marina and yacht club

You can wear a Bulgari watch, stay at a Bulgari hotel and now a berth your yacht at Bulgari marina and yacht club. The luxury Italian jeweller Bulgari, part of the LVMH group, is teaming up with Dubai developer Meraas Holding to plan a luxury resort and residential development on the man-made Jumeirah Bay Island off the coast of Dubai, UAE, and the Bulgari Dubai resort complex will include a 50-berth marina and the first Bulgari Yacht Club.

This will be the fifth Bulgari Hotel and Resorts property. The luxury brand has already lent its name hotels in Milan, Bali and London – not to mention restaurants in Tokyo and Osaka. The Dubai property is set to open in 2017. Bulgari is not done expanding its reach, however, as properties are also planned for Shanghai and Beijing with 2017 opening dates slated.

Design of the luxury property comes from Italian architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners. The Dubai Bulgari Resort and Residences with stretch over 157,935 square metres, covering a quarter of Jumeirah Bay Island. It will feature a 101-room Ritz-Carlton hotel, that will operate under the Bulgari name, with 20 beachside villas.

Opulent residences will comprise 165 apartments, eight penthouses and 15 private mansions. The property will also have all the expected amenities of a luxury resort, with full details to be revealed.
