Construction is well underway on the first model of Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts' FD102 series.
The yard has released a new in-build photo of the new-build 32 metre yacht, which has been sold to a European owner.
The contract was signed at the Monaco Yacht Show and delivery is expected to take place in 2020. The yacht was designed by long-term Horizon designer Cor D. Rover.
Rover described the model as “an attractive representative of the evolution of the Fast Displacement Series design”. The result is a “striking exterior profile, impressive interior volume and high-performance hull design,” according to the yard.
Large outdoor spaces are abundant and include a spacious beach club aft which will sit alongside a lounging and dining area.
An additional lounging area sits on the fore deck and is equipped with a U-shaped settee, sunpad and Jacuzzi.
Accommodation is for 10 guests across a master stateroom and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck.
Horizon chief executive John Lu added, “The innovation of the FD102 Skyline shows Horizon possesses strong design and construction abilities that allow us to turn an owner’s dream into reality.”
