The 46.6-metre Admiral superyacht Ethos (ex Entourage, PetraTara) is currently undergoing an interior renovation at Perama Shipyard in Greece.
The interior refit (owed to Njord Bergman Design House) is scheduled to be completed in May 2024, after which she will be available for charter with Emperio Yachting. Ethos was delivered to her new owners in September 2023.
"Njord’s vision was to restore the beautiful characteristics of Ethos' interior without having to rip out and rebuild where it was not necessary," explained Njord by Bergman founder Sarah Colbon.
Ongoing works include new interior architecture for the owner's cabin and main saloon. The owner's cabin is being fitted with a new walk-in wardrobe, bed with custom headboard and a custom, full-width desk. The main saloon will have a new "feature wall" installed alongside its original dark timber walls, which integrates artwork with a television screen. It will also benefit from a new forward-facing lounge area and dedicated dining area with custom pendant lighting.
Materials and finishes selected were locally sourced, including onboard elements made by "Greek artisans". The lower deck and guest cabins have had much of their original architecture maintained.
"We would always advise our clients never to waste or destroy original features that are beautifully crafted," Colbon added, "[As we can] apply new materials and finishes that complement or actually bring out the beauty within. This can achieve a whole new look and feel, while being sustainable and overall saving time and budget for the client."
Among other projects, Njord by Bergman is known for its contribution to the 131-metre Oceanco concept Aeolus which debuted at the Dubai International Boat Show last year.
