1. "Disruptive" EkoKat catamaran model with high-volume flybridge
Length: 18.9m
Designer: EkoKat Yachts
Standout feature: Impressive space efficiency
The 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival saw the reveal of EkoKat Yachts' "disruptive" new model. Billed as the world's "first 60-foot superyacht" at just 18.9 metres long, the catamaran concept offers the interior volume of a 30-40-metre yacht. The 80-square-metre flybridge features lounging, an alfresco bar and dining space, all housed under a solar roof supplying 600 kW to the battery stacks. Further outdoor amenities include the modular beach club and cockpit mezzanine, with additional space for equipment and toys. Maximising space, the 67-metre-square dual-function saloon features soundproof, voice-activated electric walls that convert into guest suites at night. The concept, as described by the yard, is "uniquely appealing to almost everyone."

Length: 105m
Designer: Alexander McDiarmid Design
Standout feature: Her striking wave-piercing hull and reverse bow
From the drawing boards of Alexander McDiarmid Design, the 105-metre GWP-345 concept represents another collaboration with Dutch Ghost Yachts and follows the success of their G250 concept. Inspired by the record-breaking 67-metre Destriero – which crossed the Atlantic in just 58 hours, 34 minutes and 50 seconds – the yacht boasts sleek lines and a design which combines high-speed propulsion with a strong focus on sustainability and circularity. And according to Ghost Yachts, she is a concept they "simply had to do." Other standout features include a main saloon with floor-to-ceiling glazing, a beach club and wellness area, a swimming pool and a helipad.

Length: 85m
Designer: CS Yacht Design
Standout feature: The main deck zen garden
CS Yacht Design’s debut 85-metre concept, Haven, showcases its vision of the 2035 superyacht. With an estimated 2,500 GT volume, the yacht concept, if built, would be powered by green methanol and target net-zero carbon emissions. Inside, the design stands out as futuristic and alternative, drawing inspiration from Tecomar's This Is It, with a double-height main saloon and glass-ceiling centrepiece. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic glazing enhances indoor-outdoor flow and the main-deck zen garden provides a calming space. Open-plan beach club spaces complete the contemporary concept.

Length: 50m
Builder: Royal Huisman
Standout feature: Capable of being under sail in less than a minute
Royal Huisman’s newest concept for 2025 focuses on making sailing accessible to all. The 50-metre catamaran (named Aera) is partly inspired by Ethereal, the world’s first hybrid superyacht delivered in 2009, and features “hyper-efficient” wing sails and advanced computer-controlled technology allowing the yacht to be under sail in minutes. Penned by Cor D. Rover, with Artemis Technology responsible for the naval architecture, Aera will emphasise outdoor living through exterior spaces that rival those of a 65-metre monohull. The designer states that a beach club wasn't necessary, as the concept revolves around expansive outdoor areas, with cabins confined to the hulls. Developed under Royal Huismans’ environmental initiative, Project Tidal Shift, the shipyard states the yacht concept will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 89 per cent.

Length: 89m
Designer: Lateral Naval Architects
Standout feature: 2,000GT with features of an over 5,000GT yacht
Presented at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, the 89-metre Outlier challenges conventions in the 2000 GT segment. Developed in collaboration with Foster + Partners, the first in the concept series, Outlier 1, it offers design freedom usually reserved for yachts over 5,000GT. With a 16 per cent increase in length, 17 per cent lower fuel consumption and 40 per cent more exterior space, the yacht achieves impressive efficiency. Lateral’s battery-powered electric-hybrid system reduces the need for technical space and a forward engine room, reimagining the layout. The designers say this concept is all about “rethinking the yacht from the inside out.”

Length: 71m
Designer: ShadowCat
Standout feature: Next-level security integration
The 71-metre catamaran concept, Sentinel, from ShadowCat, offers advanced security without compromising comfort and luxury. Unveiled at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the concept was developed alongside the specialist company Allmode. Acting as a “mobile perimeter of protection,” the yacht has autonomous and piloted drones providing 360-degree situational awareness. The support vessel can also house submersibles, tenders, toys, security vehicles and certified helipads, while reinforced compartments and ballistic-shielded stairwalls protect critical areas. Designed to host specialist personnel alongside guests, including logistics teams, technical pilots, security and medics, Sentinel prioritises “foresight and intelligence” and, according to the yard, won't negatively impact the guest experience.

Length: 26m
Designer: Sanlorenzo
Standout feature: Vintage-inspired elegance
Not all the yacht concepts that turned heads in 2025 were futuristic. The 26-metre SHE (Sanlorenzo Heritage) pays tribute to Italian design, blending 1960s-inspired wood-dominated aesthetics with modern sustainability. Designed with Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners, SHE features three levels of living space linked by a sculptural circular staircase and mezzanine. The yard says that the use of glazing that lets in natural light creates a “soft, atmospheric transition between spaces.” Her proposal also includes modern touches, such as sustainable natural teak, an innovative island system for flexible furniture arrangements and a Volvo Penta hybrid IPS propulsion system to power her efficiently.

Length: 150m
Designer: Mario Biferali
Standout feature: A fully habitable “Sea Garden"
The 150-metre Anthos project is a post-industrial superyacht conversion of a 10,630 GT container ship, marking the first in Mario Biferali’s Nacht® series in collaboration with Oceanco. Its standout “Sea Garden” terrace creates a “suspended oasis between sky and sea,” with social spaces, a bar, dining and lounging, all set amid vegetated walls and greenery. The extended main deck and "tower" structure house a multi-level owner's apartment across three decks, complemented by “super VIP” suites, a helideck, swimming pool, sports courts, gym, cinema, media room and wellness facilities.

Length: 65m + 80m
Designer: Turquoise Yachts, Bannenberg & Rowell
Standout feature: Unconventional crow’s nest
Introducing not one, but two yacht concepts in the first part of this year, Turkish yard Turquoise Yachts teamed up with British design studio Bannenberg & Rowell, introducing the Above (65-metre) and Beyond (80-metre) explorer concepts. Both share common profile lines and highlight innovative crow’s nest - an elevator platform that ascends the mast - while the main decks emphasise fluidity, connecting six guest cabins to saloons and dining areas. The Above + Beyond concepts are listed for sale with Denison Yachting and, according to the broker, the crow’s nest feature is a “great touch” for “cruising the polar regions or docked in Port Hercule for the Monaco Grand Prix.” Above builds on a pre-existing hull, while the yard says Beyond will begin construction on speculation. Each deck features dedicated crew facilities, ensuring service while maintaining open, connected guest spaces.

Length: 63.5m
Designer: JC, Rob Doyle Design
Standout feature: Long-range, self-sufficient exploration
The 63.5-metre Oi60 concept is an explorer trimaran designed to “reach the far corners of our planet with pace.” Its sharp profile and wave-piercing hulls conceal a “huge, perforated box” layout that accommodates 12 guests, with multi-purpose living spaces concentrated midships. Renderings highlight a swimming pool, beach club and abundant outdoor areas, while the sail plan features a 61-metre freestanding mast with simplified systems that can be operated single-handedly. According to the designers, Oi60 is “self-sufficient and efficient, harnessing power from wind and sun.”
