Taiwanese yard Horizon Yachts has revealed that its latest FD87 Skyline is ready for delivery after successfully completing sea trials.
The yacht reached speeds of up to 21 knots at half load during sea trials and is now being prepared for delivery to the US, where she will debut at the Palm Beach Boat Show in March.
The fourth hull in the series, it is the first FD87 Skyline that features a walkaround bridge deck design, which brings “flexibility” and improves guest flow to the enclosed skylounge, aft deck and forward entertainment area, the yard said.
The enclosed skylounge and bridge area are equipped with a day head and dinette area with coffee tables while doors to port and starboard provide access to the side deck.
An entertainment area sits on the foredeck, with a U-shaped settee, sunpads, fridges and sunshades. Another entertainment area sits aft with a bar and grill area, as well as space for storing the tender.
Accommodation is for a maximum of 10 guests in a master stateroom on the main deck and four further guest staterooms on the lower deck.
Inside, the Horizon FD87 Skyline resembles “a modern loft interior” with an oak wood finish for an “open and airy feeling.”
Stonework is in warm grey and white tones to balance the wood finish while colours such as blues and purples appear in patterns and textures.
The FD87 Skyline was designed by Cor D Rover and is powered by Twin MTU 1600hp engines.
