The 54-metre motor yacht Betsy, the fifth unit from Overmarine Group's flagship Mangusta GranSport 54 fast displacement series, has departed the shipyard's facilities in Viareggio, Italy. According to BOATPro, she is currently cruising the coast of Sardinia.

Betsy hit the water in July, following the fourth unit, Nana III (launched in March), to join sisterships She's a 10 Too, Velocity and Re Leone on the water. Following delivery, the latest 54-metre unit is now available for charter with FGI Yacht Group

Constructed in aluminium, the Mangusta GranSport 54 is the result of a collaboration between Overmarine’s Engineering Department, naval architect Pierluigi Ausonio and designer Alberto Mancini. MarineMax and Nicolai Yacht Consulting were involved throughout Betsy's build.

Slender lines, a distinctive stern and a "muscular" profile characterise the flagship series, developed to deliver high comfort alongside speeds up to 29 knots (thanks to four 2,600hp Rolls-Royce MTU engines) and a long-range cruising capacity of up to 4,200 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Model highlights include an expansive beach club at the stern with an opening transom door and two fold-down side hatches, plus interiors bathed in natural light through wide glazed surfaces. The series boasts an expansive sundeck and upper deck living area, complete with a dining table and multiple lounges for entertaining.

All interior living areas feature a contemporary, neutral, high-end palette designed to blend seamlessly with the exterior, which the yard previously described as creating a "continuity of both design language and functionality".

Key specs include a volume of 499GT, a beam of nine metres and a 2.3-metre draught.

BOATPro amounts Overmarine Group to have 18 yachts on order or currently in build, including three units from the yard's new Mangusta Oceano 52 line.
